Presentations and Trial Exams

Last week we are enjoyed presentations on Chapter 10 (also 14): Making Decisions That Are Right for You; Chapter 11: Making Academic Choices (Career Paths); and Chapter 12: Getting Along with Others (Diversity). We have the rest of the presentations this week, for Chapters Thirteen (Money Matters ) and Fourteen (Enjoying Health and Wellness: Handling Stress and Safety).

You and your team will be taking an exam prepared by another team next week. Be sure to bring (at least) seven copies of your trial exam, one for each member of another team to take. Don't forget to bring the answer keys as well! You will be testing the final exam. This project, along with the team presentations is worth 20 points.  You'll need to complete an evaluation form that all team members hand in.

Teams Prepare Exams:

Team 1 - Chapter 10
Team 2 - Chapter 11
Team 3 - Chapter 12
Team 4 - Chapter 13

What team will you be giving an exam to?

Team 1 - gives Exam to Team 2
Team 2 - gives Exam to Team 3
Team 3 - gives Exam to Team 4
Team 4 - gives Exam to Team 5
Team 5 - gives Exam to Team 1

What team's exam will you be taking?

Team 1 - takes Exam from Team 5
Team 2 - takes Exam from Team 1
Team 3 - takes Exam from Team 2
Team 4 - takes Exam from Team 3
Team 5 - takes Exam from Team 4

Altogether there are three items due for the team project:

2. an answer key for the exam (revised)
3. an evaluation from each member of your team that covers participation in both the presentation and exams
4. one page summary report on the presentation/activity done by the team

After your trial exams have been taken and marked, you and your team will decide on any revisions to be made for the final copy of the exam and answer key to be handed in with the team evaluation forms.

PLEASE NOTE: All four items MUST be handed in on the due date, December 9 - no late work will be accepted!
