Ten: November 15-19, 2004

For this week three of the five team presentations
will be given. Next week, the other two presentations will be given. Each
team has twenty minutes in which to present their activity on the topic
to the class. The following topics are being covered by these teams:

Each team needs to fill out and hand an evaluation form at the end of the team projects. When you had in your summary report on the presentation/activity and your final copy of the exam and answer key, please include one evaluation sheet from each member of your team.



Also this week you will be completing the final exam creation project. This project is covered by the same evaluation form that covers the presentation/ activity. All team members will complete this form to hand in. There are four items due related to the team projects at the end of those projects: ( due Week 13)
1. a summary report on the class presentation/activity
for your team's chapter.
2. a mock exam (on three chapters)
created by the team
3. an answer key for the exam
4. an evaluation form filled out by
each member of your team
The "trial" exams are due next week (March 28) when they will be exchanged with another team. Be sure to bring enough exams for the members of another team. You will want to get feedback form this team so that you can revise your exam. Any revisions will be made so that the final copy of the exam and answer key will be handed in with the evaluation on April 11.
PLEASE NOTE: All four items MUST be handed in on the due date, April 11 - no late work will be accepted!

Here's a reminder of what you are doing for the Special Report (due in Week 13)
This assignment is to create a document, brochure, booklet, web site, or other product that gives tips, secrets, do's and don'ts, FAQ, guide, recipe, or other type of handy resource for being a successful student at Seneca College in your Business program. This report represents 15 points in the category of written assignments.

Remember that you will be showing me your portfolio in the last class. Five of these are the minimum requirement for your portfolio at 2 points each. Those items marked with an asterick are recommended. Professionalism of presentation, neatness, quality of items, creativity are important.

PLEASE NOTE: All Special Projects MUST be handed in on the due date, December 9 - no late reports will be accepted! All portfolios will also be checked on this day - no late submissions are possible.
For next week, you and your team will be taking an exam prepared by another team. Be sure to bring enough copies of your trial exam, one for each member of another team to take. Don't forget to bring the answer keys as well!
Remember that Week Thirteen is our last week together!
In that class you will be displaying your Success Projects and Portfolios. We will have the final course evaluation. You'll will have a chance to give feedback that can affect the revision of how this course will be taught (by me) in future.
