This chart is for the use of students of Patricia Clark. Here's an example using this chart:
If your letter grade is "A" and the assignment is worth 20%, your numerical grade is 17.This grading scheme is in accordance with College policy. Please note that the range of grades I assign simply has more gradations than the College system, going from a "minus" (-) to a "plus-plus" (++). These ratings fall inside the range designated by the College as A to A+, B to B+, C to C+, and D to D+ (in the left column). In other words, An "A-" grade falls within the lower end of the "A" grade designated by the College, while an "A++" falls within the higher range of the "A+" grade designated by the College.
You can add together the numerical grades you receive over the semester to calculate your term mark.
