NOTE: Rendering the WMV version of the presentation reduced the quality
of the two photocopier videos embedded within it, thus you see a much
lower resolution on the screen when these play (color loss,
pixellation). Also, I had to patch the audio somewhat in a few places.
I could have spent more time editing the audio, but I wanted to make
this available sooner rather than later. So you get it now, with some
flaws, rather than in two weeks from now when I have time to tidy
absolutely everything. (Supposing that I would actually have time to do
it in the next two weeks -- doubtful.) It should still be a serviceable
version of the presentation. :-)
What are those clicks on the soundtrack?
Sorry, I don't know. I do know that they are annoying. It sounds like
that creepy Star Trek: Next Generation episode where the crew had been
abducted by aliens -- all they could remember was the clicking. Ugh! I
suspect it was some noise in the background as I was recording, but I
didn't hear it until sound editing. This is one of the problems I was
warning you about. Since I'm not about to re-record the entire 1 hour
and 30 minutes of the presentation (well, not this week anyway!) we
have to live with those clicks for now. Sorry about that. I heard the
bird chirping, you'd think I'd hear the clicking, but perhaps it was
something on the desk hitting the back of the microphone. <shrug>
Live and learn.
ACTUALLY...
I am not that fond of the word "actually" but I was caught in a loop
and said "actually" about 30 times on the Terminology and Frog screens.
Yet one more thing to edit out of the audio file ...
