AS/400 Operations Tasks

1 – What is the command to schedule a job entry.  Schedule a job to execute every Friday @ 16:00 hrs. List all the commands

2 – What is a line on an AS/400.

3 – What is CTL01

4 – List all the steps to navigate to WRKCFGSTS *LIN command.

5 – SBMJOB 3 jobs in 3 different JOBQ’s. (Note: First you have to create 3 different Jobq's)

6 – Let’s assume you are the person responsible for backup and recovery.  Create a Backup and Recovery plan for your company incase of disaster occurs. List in bullet points.

7 – What necessary steps will you take to cleanup your system on a daily basis.  What will be the important areas of consideration you will consider to clean.

8 – If you were to asked to perform system performance.  What commands do you think will be best to run to determine system activities.

9 – What are PTF’s ? What is the difference between Individual PTF and Cumulative PTF ?

10 – Create a Save File and save your library in the save file you created.  List all the commands in order.
