Weaving a Traditional Coverlet

At Burr House we have a 100" loom. This year eight of us are weaving coverlets using 2/8 cotton for warp, 2/16 cotton for tabby, and Briggs and Little wools as pattern weft. We chose Johann Speck's Design NO. 33 for the main pattern and Johann Schleelein's No. 123 - II for the border design.  Both of these are Marguerite Davision's weaving bible.
